We just got our new artwork pieces framed. I LOOOOVE the artwork of the old man, it’s very post-impressionist and SO gorgeous. Made in Guatemala, by master Juan Manuel Sissay, the 2nd. I believe it’s a portrait of his father, Juan Sissay, who was also one of Guatemala’s grand artists. Juan is a family friend, we have more artwork by him in our house, which is all breathtaking. My favourite piece (after the van-gogh-ish painting above, which is what I call it lol) is a portrait he painted of my paternal grandfather. :)
